Mark speaks out - Friday 30th September 2005
Hello everyone! First I'd like to thank everyone who has been
making the effort to come along to our gigs, it does mean a lot
to all of us. I'd like to mention the Thatched House gig in
Stockport, this was definitely a highlight for the band this
year. Dave and I travelled in the trusty Janitors tour van, and
Andrew and Andy followed us down in the car.
Dave and I did our best to lose them several times, it was like
Starsky and Hutch being chased by Kojak and Danno but
unfortunately they arrived at the same time! Good people and a
healthy crowd saw us put in our best performance to date, well
we think it was our best, but we were all drunk at the time.
Thanks to the Manager Alex and his good lady for sorting a spare
room for us, only two single beds though, so unfortunately there
was no room for the groupies.
Although we haven't had a gig for a bit we have been working on
some new songs, well I have, I don't know what the rest of the
band have been doing, but sometimes I think I'm wasted in this
band, I could have been a someone you know, a contender!

new sets and buy me a pint, unless I'm driving in which case
